Loved by Parents. Backed by Experience.
I'm a music teacher with over 35 years of experience, passionate about helping parents and caregivers support early brain development through music—no background required. In my book, Music for the Developing Brain: A Simple, At-Home Program, I share 5-minute daily activities that introduce children (ages 0–5) to musical concepts like pitch, rhythm, tempo, and articulation—all with just a few simple tools and a love for learning.
I created this book to make music study accessible, joyful, and part of everyday life. One of my favorite memories? An impromptu performance on Liberace’s mirrored and crystal-covered pianos in Las Vegas—proof that music can spark magic in the most unexpected places.
You don’t have to be a musician to give your child a powerful head start. Just a little time, curiosity, and connection.
