Jane J. Bader has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Bader's career is a testament to her diverse talents and unwavering dedication to both music and education. As the founder of NeuroMusicNotes Media, she has embarked on a mission to empower parents and caregivers with resources that integrate music into early childhood education. This venture follows the publication of her book, "Music for the Developing Brain: A Simple, At-Home Program," which distills her extensive research into practical guidance for nurturing young minds through music.

Dr. Bader's professional journey began in the medical field as a medical technologist from 1975 to 1986. During this time, she honed her skills in laboratory settings, where precision and attention to detail were paramount. Her work in a blood bank in Alaska was particularly impactful, as she played a crucial role in saving lives in the local community.

In parallel with her medical career, Dr. Bader pursued her passion for music. She became an award-winning composer and dedicated herself to teaching music and piano, eventually serving as an adjunct faculty member at Southern Wesleyan University from 2003 to 2006. Her expertise in music education and piano pedagogy is widely recognized, and she is a respected member of several industry organizations, such as the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society, the Music Teachers National Association, the South Carolina Music Teachers Association and the Columbia Music Teachers Association.

Dr. Bader's academic achievements have been instrumental in shaping her career. She earned a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Pedagogy from the University of South Carolina in 2001, following a master's degree in the same field in 1991. Her educational foundation also includes a bachelor's degree in cell biology from the University of South Carolina in 1972 and a certificate in medical technology from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1974.

Outside her primary work, Dr. Bader's civic involvement is equally impressive. She has served on the boards of several organizations, including HIS International Inc., where she has contributed since 2009, and the Columbia Music Teachers Association. Her commitment to community service also extends to churches in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas and Alaska.

Dr. Bader's personal life is marked by her dedication to family and education. She and her husband successfully homeschooled their daughter until college, emphasizing hands-on learning experiences that fostered a love for knowledge. Their daughter's achievements are a source of immense pride for Dr. Bader. She attributes much of her personal and professional success to the support of her family and the motivation provided by her parents who grew up in poverty but created a better life in adulthood.

Looking ahead, Dr. Bader aims to make her book more accessible to families worldwide, inspiring them to embark on musical journeys that can lead to educational opportunities, including college scholarships. She plans to provide coaching for parents and caregivers as well as to hold workshops and speaking events that highlight the importance of making music in strengthening parent-child bonds. Additionally, she is keen on collaborating with experts in music and neuroscience to further explore how studying music affects brain development, making this knowledge accessible to parents and music teachers everywhere.
